How to Use Time Card Calculator

Entering Your Information

  • Name: Enter the employee’s name in the “Name” field.
  • Company Name: Enter the company’s name in the “Company Name” field.
  • Date: Select the date for the records you are entering. This usually represents the starting date of the work week.
  • Hourly Wage: Enter the wage rate per hour. Ensure you input a valid number.

Recording Daily Hours

  • Start Time and End Time: For each day (Monday to Sunday), enter the start and end times using the time fields. The times should be in 24-hour format or AM/PM, depending on your browser’s default settings.
  • Break Duration: Enter the break duration in hours and minutes (e.g., “01:30” for one hour and thirty minutes). Make sure to use the HH:MM format.

Reviewing Calculations

  • As you enter the start, end, and break times, the tool automatically calculates the total hours worked for each day and displays them in the “Total Hours” column.
  • The bottom of the table shows the total hours worked for the week and the total wage calculated based on the hourly wage and total hours.

Additional Features

  • Clear All Button: Click this button to clear all input fields and calculations.
  • Print This Button: Click this button to print the current page. This is useful for keeping physical records or submitting time sheets.
